The huipil is woven in 2 panels.  Red background.  The opening for the head shows 2 half-moons embroidered with symbols like feathers; this is the representation of the phases of the moon and the sun.   The designs are embroidered with silk.  The randa is embroidered with wool.   Designs: geometric: moon and sun.
