A Virgin’s Huipil woven on a back strap loom with 4 selvedge ends. The piece has a frame of a purple edge and for both ends the red frame is hidden in the weft thread. This piece is brocaded with different patterns. Both panels are joined with a fine cotton and silk randa. The round neck is cut out and embroidered with cotton. A date and legend is embroidered in the front part “Dejo un vistido 7 de octubre 1953, Virgen del Rosario”.
