One panel ceremonial napkin woven on a back strap loom. This ceremonial napkin is used to cover the Tamales’ basket for the ceremony. The piece shows indigo background with macramé work on both sides. Yellow weft lines hidden between the warp. The patterns are woven in. Geometrical designs: serpents and floral.
