Rare Child's Ceremonial Conquistador Mask used during the Dance of the Conquest. This character represents a Spanish soldier; a captain or a simple combatant. During the Dance, they will fight against the Mayan Warriors. Blond hair, sideburns and moustaches are nicely carved. Notice the long gracefully painted eyebrows and eyelashes that highlight the beautiful white painted seed-made eyes. The left ear is missing. Red lips and sunburned forehead nose and cheeks, highlight the character’s gesture. Great patina on the back denotes use and age. Please Notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping.
