This character represents a cowboy; many highlanders come to the coast looking for an extra income and work during the harvest season in the lower lands. High relieve carved hair and painted moustaches and sideburns give the piece a nice look. Notice the thin eyebrows, black painted eyes that highlight the looks of this hard working cattleman. The backside of the piece shows the hardness of the wood smoothened by the constant use during the ceremonies; a wax made cross is the signature of the Morería that owns the piece. This Vaquero or Cowboy appears in the “Baile Convite”, a disguises parade. Please notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping.
