Three paneled ceremonial Huipil woven on a back strap loom using as main materials cotton and natural dyes. Used mainly for weddings or religious ceremonies. Red, green and yellow brocaded decorations are present all over the piece as Venus star, mountains, dots and water symbols. A finely hand embroidered and red randa joins the three panels. The neckline is formed by four pink satin semicircles which represent the four phases of the moon. It also shows magenta, purple, golden and light green flowers; all of them hand embroidered. On the bottom of the blouse appears only in one side two thin lines (blue and pink), probably a type of signature of the owner or weaver. This Huipil is brocaded with natural dyes (yellow and green). Please notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping!
