Two panelled Huipil woven on a back strap loom. Finely brocaded with silk and mercerized cotton (horses, feathered serpent, squirrels, stars and leave) decorate the piece. These sections are intercepted by multicoloured stripped chequered lines which are particular designs on the huipiles from Comalapa; as well a wide red weft band that decorates the upper section of the huipil. Notice the four selvedge ends for both panels. The v neckline is formed by the union of the two panels and decorated with black cotton ribbon as well as the armholes. All the colours are chemical dyes. Please notice that the price includes FREE USPS Shipping!
