Hand made plate by the famous Montiel Family from Antigua Guatemala. The piece is decorated with black and yellow circles on the edge. A lovely bird standing on tree leaves highlights the plate. The bird’s body is green and the wings, head and tale have yellow details. The piece was worn by Cofradias during Religious Ceremonies when they presented the offerings to the Patron Saints. The plate is glazed as a finishing touch. Its lightness and thin edges are signs of finesse, an attribute common to the classic old Majolica pieces. Please notice the price includes FREE USPS Shipping.
