Saint’s Huipil woven in one panel on a back strap loom.  The background is woven with cuyuscate and cotton vertical lines.  The piece shows four selvedge ends. The opening for the head is decorated with blue satin ribbon and a “Roceta” – which symbolizes the moon.  Designs: zoomorphic: birds and double headed birds; geometric: Venus planet and feather serpent.
